More and more people come to us on La Grace wanting to learn more about the sailor's craft. For these curious souls we decided to start running courses. We are not the direct organisers of all of them, but some we arrange through our partners at the Czech Maritime Academy, proven over the years.

Covid has been raging around the world for a second year now, but people have got used to it, so our ship is sailing without any serious restrictions. Fortunately the situation in Italy is stable. The rules here are simple and easy to follow and do not complicate people's lives much.

Italy went through the pandemic right in the first wave of 2020, and since then (unlike the Czech Republic) their situation has been improving the whole time, with only mild fluctuations. This autumn La Grace waited in vain for her favourite cadets from Russia. Sadly they could not come because of the COVID-19 crisis. And so La Grace has an unplanned holiday. She is spending it in the marina at Porto Azzurro on the island of Elba. In November she will move to the marina in Portoferraio, where she will undergo her winter refit.
