In the spring of 2016, an exhibition devoted to La Grace opened in Kavalír II in the town of Terezín — to the only Czech sail training ship, a historic sailing vessel born as the embodied dream of people who carried within them the idea of the sea, a vision of being destined to sail and the urge to carry on Czech maritime history. But the La Grace Museum is far more than just an exhibition about one ship. Among other things, it is an exhibition on the maritime history of the Czech lands...

The La Grace Museum:
You may not know it yet, but many years ago, under the leadership of Franta Šefl and with many volunteers lending a hand, a very interesting exhibition on the history of La Grace was created in the Terezín fortress (Kavalír 2). A museum isn't just all the junk that breaks on us or wears out! For a museum to be alive, it has to be full of people in costume at the events held there. That is exactly what the lads and lasses have pulled off here, so come and take a look — and maybe keep your children entertained.
