Working Aboard

We are often looking for more people for the permanent crew.

Základní posádka se skládá z 5 profesí: kapitána, bocmana (takeláž), strojníka (motory, elektřina, voda), dobrého kuchaře a delegátky. Nově jsme rozšířili naše řady o tzv. „Watchleadery“ – velitele družstev, „Deckleadery“ – palubní poddůstojníky, ale i o organizátory jednotlivých akcí (šermíře, dělostřelce, táborové vedoucí a podobně).

The main requirement for working on La Grace is a feeling for historical ships and an appetite for work in the trade concerned. La Grace is a unique and technically very demanding ship, so preference is given to applicants who have taken part in repairs to her or have already sailed on her several times. That helps them a great deal to know the ship organisationally and technically, and also to fit into the team.
