We have laid La Grace up in our second home, at the quay in Portoferraio on the island of Elba. With the small exception of one New Year's Eve voyage, she will rest here until spring. Normally we would still be sailing at this time of year, but this year has been marked by waves of assorted regulations and often nonsensical orders, which politicians all over the world wrap in the magic dread of the words Covid 19. All we can do is hope that the world will soon be all right again.
