Whales in Portoferraio!

Few people know that our favourite port of Portoferraio, where our ship will spend the whole winter of 2020/21, is also nicknamed the "port of whales". From time to time cetaceans stray in here and set off to explore the marina. The last time, two of them came at once. On 22 October 2020 two fin whales (Balaenoptera physalus) swam into the Cosimo di Medici marina. A shame we were not there with La Grace! So maybe next time 🐳🐋
