Accommodation on board

Cadets are accommodated in two shared cabins in the bow and have to take part in running the ship. They are divided into watches and learn to steer, to haul on the lines and also to help out in the galley. La Grace also offers a maximum of 10 places for passengers. They have their own twin cabin and no duties at all, much as in an ordinary hotel.

The price of a twin cabin depends on the season; see the link to the reservation system below. On top of the price you need to add the cost of travel to the ship, a contribution towards food and towards the ship's fund. If you have no special requirements, the contribution comes to roughly 105 EUR per person per week, or the equivalent in another currency by agreement, depending on the destination. Příďová kajuta (kadetská místa) – 8 míst

An ideal cabin for a larger closed group. It can also be recommended for up to two couples who want to sleep side by side and do not need much privacy, or for couples with a child under 6 not requiring a berth (two double berths in the middle of the cabin). The drawback of this cabin is that in heavy weather it pitches more than the cabins amidships and aft, and of course there is less privacy here.

Salon (kadetská místa) – 4 místa

The saloon is ideal accommodation for larger or slightly taller people. The berth here is 200 x 80cm. The space of the saloon will be appreciated above all by anyone claustrophobic. We often recommend putting the loudest snorers here.

Salon (hamaka) – 2 hamaky

The cheapest way to take part in a voyage is a place in a hammock. It offers a chance to experience the real life of an 18th-century sailor. A less period option at the same price is sleeping on deck. The number of these places is limited.

Cabin 1 and Cabin 2

Toto jsou nejprostornější kajuty na lodi. Oblíbené jsou u větších rodin či u skupiny 3 kadetů. Kajuta má možnost otevření stěny, což oceníte za plavby v létě, nebo pokud chcete kajutu a jste klaustrofobik. Největší výhodou pro dlouhány je lůžko dlouhé 225cm. A pokud s partnerkou nejste zrovna hubeňouři, na posteli široké 125cm se nebudete muset mačkat. Zároveň se jedná o kajutu, která se nejméně houpe. Nevýhodou je méně klidu v ranních hodinách, kdy kuchař vedle chystá snídani hodinu před budíčkem. Při obsazení K1 či K2 hosty je součástí soukromé WC – Z3.

Cabin 4, Cabin 6 and Cabin 7

These cabins are suitable for 2 people lying comfortably one above the other (one of the berths is considerably wider than the other), for a couple wanting privacy in a double berth (the upper bunk folds away), or for a family of no more than three. To a limited extent they are also let to 3 cadets. Each has a WC shared between two cabins. K4 shares a WC with cabin K6, and K7 shares one with the captain's cabin K5.

If there is a third adult on an extra bed in the cabin, it is assumed that they are all cadets.
