Up in the yards

For some people the greatest thrill, and at the same time the greatest experience, is that if we want to sail, we have to climb into the rigging. The height of the mainmast often calls to mind the view of someone leaning over a balcony railing on the 7th floor, and the way up reminds me of my youth, when we climbed lightning conductors after girls.
