TSR 2017

Sadly this race ended in great disappointment for La Grace. During the major refit someone stole the paint that was supposed to guarantee a clean hull, and the Tunisian workers painted the ship with ordinary paint. It fouled up and slowed us down. Even the crew's determination to get into the icy water of the northern Baltic and scrub the weed off by hand did not help. Even so I look back on that race very fondly and I will never forget the group of people who proudly carried the weight of failure with me.
