TSR 2015

We entered this race determined to defend 1st place in class A. The race, though, was held on a long course in the North Atlantic, which is no easy arena for a small wooden ship. Even the start was in a following wind of 8-9 °Bf, so nothing for the faint-hearted. We crossed the finish line after 8 days of non-stop sailing in Norway, only 100 Nm from the Arctic Circle, in 3rd place and just 20 minutes behind the winner. We took 2nd place overall in class A at the end, in the Kattegat, and victory escaped us by a mere 7 seconds. The home Norwegians won deservedly, but it was a great fight. Thanks to everyone who fought at my side like Czech lions.
