TSR 2013

We came to the start of this race as complete newcomers, straight after repairs hastily finished following the grounding in Spain in 2012. The ship started in 1st place and sailed without any navigation or communication equipment at all, apart from a GSM mobile phone. She was carried to a winning finish by the immense determination of the cadets and their will, under the motto:

Better dead than second.

I would like to thank them once again for the 9 gold and 1 bronze medals they helped me win. It was an honour to sail with them.
