Launching the Ship

5.12.2010, on St. Nicholas' Day, came the "D" day we had been waiting for so impatiently for so long. A day full of ancient Arab rituals and expectation. It was preceded by a 150m journey across Saharan sand before the keel of La Grace touched the surface of the Red Sea for the first time. Full of fear of the truth, but also of longing for a new, adventurous life, our dream came true...
