Napoleon Bonaparte
Napoleon Bonaparte:
Once a year "La Grace" dresses up as the British warship "Undounted" and I step into the role of Captain Thomas Ussher, who had the honour (just as I do today) of commanding the ship charged with carrying Emperor Napoleon into exile on the island of Elba. My thanks — and I guard as a great treasure the Legion of Honour (with the blue ribbon) that this great commander awarded me on the occasion of his 200th anniversary, as one of only four people in the world.
(P.S.: The red orders are awarded to soldiers and the blue ones to civilians)

Napoleon Bonaparte:
Part of this island's history is closely bound up with the exile of that great French commander. Once you are on Elba, you must find the time to visit at least one of the three museums charting his life here.
