La Grace Sails (part 1)
The book describes the circumstances of the build and the adventures of the first voyages of the historical sailing ship La Grace, which was built in Egypt by a group of Czech enthusiasts led by captain Josef Dvorský and Dan Rosecký in the years 2008-2010. The ship was ceremonially christened on 1.5.2011 in Athens, Greece, and her godmother is Lucie Váchová, Miss ČR. The book is intended not only for all yachtsmen and fans of ships and the sea, but also for the general public, because the La Grace project is so extensive and so interesting that ordinary readers are sure to reach for it too. The sailing ship La Grace is fairly well known; Czech Television made an hour-long programme about her as part of the show Objektiv, and most Czech media, both electronic and print, reported on the christening. The book's godfather will be the actor and presenter Tomáš Hanák, and the book also appeared on ČT1 in his travel programme.
